A & S Training was formed in 1993 due to needs expressed by a variety of Law Enforcement, Private and Corporate Security Agencies for current and up to date training in all areas associated with those fields.

A & S Training found a tremendous gap existed between little or no training and the “canned training” programs that provided stale and out dated training and tactics for Security and Law Enforcement personnel. As a result, our desire is to fill that gap with up to date, cutting edge tactics, first hand knowledge and experienced instructors, dynamic hands-on applications and a sound legal basis for the difficult tasks that are performed by Security and Law Enforcement Personnel in a dynamically changing environment.

A & S has a large cadre of certified and street tested (approximately fifty) instructors that fill a variety of instructional needs ranging from tactical communications and verbal confrontations to the use of deadly force, firearms training, tactical operations, officer survival and pursuit training. We specialize in the area of Level III simulations and Simunitions Scenario-based training using all levels of force options and tactics available or applicable to your training requirements. A & S utilizes legal experts in the civil litigation field who review and update our training and lesson plans from a legal perspective, to accommodate new case law and to assure a sound legal basis for tactics and procedures. Our legal consultants specializes in the areas of policy creation and review in all areas of Use of Force and Defensive Tactics, Firearms and Deadly Force, Tactical Procedures and Pursuit related issues and concerns, involving both for the public and private sector.

We also offer Personal Safety classes and training for public and corporate needs, with both classroom and dynamic hands on training, as well as site and facility assessments, risk assessment and threat analysis and security reviews for all types of private and corporate settings. 

A & S Training continually strives to stay ahead of the training needs of the departments and agencies we serve and has cultivated contacts in a variety of fields to include the Law Enforcement and Military Special Operations community that provide expertise and assist in developing progressive and innovative training programs and tactics for all of our clients.

The topics of each lesson plan are researched for current developments and industry standards along with state of the industry training tactics, assuring that you receive the most up to date information and training available of each specific topic.
